We aspire to create a clean energy future by applying established technologies in the most competitive way.
To unfold the full competitive potential of renewable energy power plants, we believe in the efficient separation of three risk profiles in the lifecycle of a plant: development, construction, and operational risk.
We operate a diversified portfolio of onshore wind and solar plants generating predictable and stable cash flows. Yet, we do have access to visible and attractive growth opportunities without bearing development risk ourselves through priority access to pipelines from project developers.
Predictable & stable
Visible & attractive
We have entered into a strategic partnership with Pacifico Energy Partners. Through this partnership, we do not only have access to a pipeline of development assets of more than 600 MW at different development stages and in different countries. We also are able to outsource asset management and other services to our strategic partner. In addition to our strategic partnership, we entered into partnerships with Boom Power (United Kingdom), Wirth Group (Germany) and ACE Power (Australia). These partnerships give us priority access to planned utility-scale solar parks and battery storage assets of more than 1.5 GW in the United Kingdom and more than 1 GW in Australia. With Wirth Group, Pacifico has won a strategic investor which enables access to selected solar and battery projects located in Germany and abroad.
Overall these partnerships allows us to maintain a lean and scalable set-up while benefitting from our partners’ expertise.
We combine this efficient separation of risks and competencies with our rigorous focus on financial discipline, plant optimization, and portfolio diversification in order to provide sustainable returns. While doing so, we adhere to conservative and transparent investment criteria:
- Guaranteed or diversified and predictable long-term cash flows
- Collaboration with trustworthy and bankable counterparties
- Prioritizing projects developed by our partners
- Complementary and opportunistic additional sourcing
- Projects held in dedicated SPVs during full asset life
- Focus on 100% ownership or at least controlling stake
- Clear focus on operational assets
- Projects in a fully contracted construction phase
- Equity investments €5-50mm
- Larger strategic acquisitions on a case-by-case basis
- Contribution in-kind transactions on a case-by-case basis
- European Union
- United Kingdom, Norway, Switzerland
- Onshore wind farms
- Battery storage plants
